The New Role dialog box is used to create a role. It appears when an admin user selects the New Role link in the Administration > Security > Role page in the server console.
Specifies the name for the new role.
Parent Role Name
Specifies the parent role for the new role.
Specifies the description for the new role.
Specifies whether the new role has the following privileges:
The privilege of publishing resources to Logi Report Server.
- Advanced Properties
The privilege of viewing advanced version properties information, such as catalog connections and report related resources.
Creates a role with the information you have specified.
Cancels operations and closes the dialog box.
