How Can we add a button in dashboard setting icon.

Hi,
I am using SP8 version of logi. How can we add a button in dashboard setting icon. When we add a dashboard element the setting icon inbuilt with dashboard, So we need to add the button below the Add panel option. Please find attached below

as I mark in black in below pic

  This is a duplicate of another question which I answered. You'll need to use a Template Modifier File to make changes to Dashboard features.

  You can use TMFs to make any number of edits to the Dashboard Super-Elements in your application.
