Using Analysis Filters with Dashboards

The Analysis Filter super-element can be used with dashboard panels to provide individual panel or global data filtering. Global filtering allows all visualizations in a dashboard tab that use similar data to be updated based on a single filter the user can adjust at runtime. Two related Dashboard element attributes, Auto Global Filters and Auto Panel Filters, are available. They're used when dashboard panels are included that were saved from an Analysis Grid that used the Active Query Builder. Filters can be created based on the metadata for the panel data.
