A 4-week hackathon in which participants compete to deliver a new analytics dashboard for United Way of the National Capital Area
Overview
Logi Analytics is excited to host a global, virtual hackathon in partnership with United Way of the National Capital Area (NCA). United Way NCA partnered with Logi for this event because they are looking for a visual and interactive solution for their constituents that communicates who benefits from their grant program's partnerships and in what way. Our initiative for delivering this is the 2021 United Way NCA Virtual Hackathon because if anyone understands the engagement limitations of a spreadsheet it's Logi users.
The event’s focus is to deliver United Way NCA with a new analytics dashboard that will be embedded on their website. Participants solutions should strive to provide an interactive experience that guides visitors in data exploration while equipping them with the ability to drill-down into areas of interest.
Logi users can compete individually or in teams up to 4 people. Register by July 13, and participate in the 4-week competition from July 14 through August 11. Participants will be challenged to create a new analytics dashboard utilizing the power of Logi Composer, an embedded analytics experience designed specifically for software teams. Hackathon winners will be announced August 31, and Logi Analytics will award up to $3,000 in prizes to the top 3 teams.
Not an expert in Logi Composer? Don’t let that stop you! During the competition, Logi Analytics will provide their expertise and resources to support participants in building out their solution, including access to training materials, webinars and mentorship.

Once registered, teams will be sent details (on or before July 13) on how to connect to Logi Composer and the United Way NCA Dataset to be used for this Hackathon. You will not be required to download or install Logi Composer on your own machine to participate in this Hackathon. You will be given access to a virtual environment for you to build out your solutions.
