How can we share the report.

Hi,

I want the ability to share the report or dashboard ,table  with one or more sets of people or groups. Is there any element or functionality for sharing the report?

  Hi Akhil,

  This is the approach  take. The Logi Info reports are embeddable. We host Logi Infor server on Tomcat on a Linux server. I share a direct link to the report as a URL. I then can either distribute the URL in an email or include a link to a website containing menus to various types of reports. I do not publish every report on the website since I create many ad-hoc reports, these are the ones I mostly share the URL through an email.

  Hi Akhil,

  This is how the URL translates from local host to the server hosting the website and Tomcat server. I have also added a folder in the second example. I then share the Website URL via email or use it as a hyperlink within the Website.

  http://localhost:8080/Test/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=AnalysisGrid

  http://localhost:8080/Test/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=SubReports.Report1

  http://WebSiteName:8080/Test/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=AnalysisGrid

  http://WebSiteName:8080/Test/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=SubReports.AnalysisGrid.Report1

  I worked with my Technical Account Manager while doing my PoC to establish these. They worked then and have done so ever since.
