How to Assign data obtained from external API as a source to logi report/grid?

Hello Team,

Currently I am working on creating report using Logi. I was able to create report that fires the sql query on the database and return the data and is displayed in the grid.

Now I want to implement the report (Grid) to which I want to assign the data obtained from the external API(return data in JSON format). In another word input source to report/grid should be API. Can someone please guide me how to setup the input source as a API for logi report
