I am hardening our IIS server and need to encrypt the DB password in settings.lgx.

<Connections>
<Connection
CommandTimeOut="500"
ID="GlobalPM-SQL-Connection"
SqlServer="<IP Address>"
SqlServerDatabase="<DB Name>"
SqlServerPassword="<Password in plain text>"
SqlServerPort=""
SqlServerUser="<User Name>"
Type="SqlServer"

How do I encrypt the password? What are others doing about this? Thank you in advance for your help.

There is a tool called Logi Obfuscation that will hide the detail in your _Settings file.  See this article https://documentation.logianalytics.com/logiinfov12/content/using-logi-studio-12.7-1.htm#Obfuscating
