I have been asked to expose Logi Reports to the Internet. IIS and the associated Logi application would reside on a Windows server in the DMZ. The database (SQL Server) will reside inside the firewall.

What ports do I need to open between the server on the DMZ and db inside the firewall to make Logi work. Do I just need to open port 1433 (SQL Server port), or are there additional Logi specific ports that I need to open?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Personally, I would suggest NOT opening port 1433, as this is actively searched as a known SQL Server port by hackers. I would suggest (if at all possible) either modifying the existing port for SQL Server (if it does not cause internal issues) or configuring SQL Server to use multiple ports, then opening the "non-1433" port for access.
