The Hidden element provides a method of passing a value to the next page, without showing it in the report. It works like an InputText element, except that it is hidden.

The other way to pass values is with the LinkParams element. It passes values through the URL.

(Required) The default value displayed or selected when the report page is initially displayed. For the InputSelectList element, to show multiple selected values, this attribute can be over-ridden by adding a DefaultValues element with a DataLayer below that.
ID
UserDefined
(Required) The ID attribute is a pervasive attribute that uniquely identifies an element within a definition file. The ID needs to be a unique value within the definition.
