  Johnny Stevens. Great question! Volume is a default metric Composer supplies. You can think of it as an automatic Count(*)

  Metrics such as Age or Race in the dataset come from the United Way supplied data file for this Hackathon. If you would like to create any additional custom metrics, check out this article on how -

  Note that you can also upload your own flat file as a data source if additional data manipulation is desired.

  What exactly is meant by "Volume"? Every chart that I create gives me a number for "Volume" which doesn't mean anything to me. When I look at other Measures than Volume, I'm forced to restrict to a specific metric like age or race and these aren't helpful to me either.
