    Hey Will,

    I feel your pain.  Excel exports can be tricky to get just right.  I've had the best results with Excel Templates.  If you're not familiar with this feature, you can read more about it here -

    You have full control over what gets written to each cell range (called a pattern block) and even which worksheet.  So I would propose a defined pattern block for the data table, followed by a defined pattern block for each chart.  You would then create a button on your web report and use an Action.Template to call the Excel export.  Hope this helps!

    Hi Will,

    I frequently use templates, some quite complex, to produce reports. The best approach I find to start the process is to create separate tab/tabs for data and another for the chart/charts using pattern blocks. That way the charts can be positioned exactly where you want to see them.

    When creating the template I use a spreadsheet that contains both data and chart to make sure all formatting is correct. I then edit this to create the template.
