Schemas
This material applies to Composer v7.9 and earlier. The data source configuration wizard has been removed from Composer as of version 7.10. See Define a Data Source Configuration.
- To add a source, navigate to the Sources page in Composer and select Add Source.
- To edit a source, select the source from the list on the Sources page in Composer to open and edit the source.
- Fields referenced in this procedure can be found in the Source Creation tab (was Tables/Indices tab and General tab), Fields tab, Cache tab (was Refresh tab), or Global Settings tab (was Visual tab and default Visual settings tab).
When a Composer connector supports schemas, it supports namespace, schema, or catalog notation for organizing collections. When schemas are supported, the Tables/Indices Tab of the data source configuration displays with the Schema drop-down and the Tables list and you can select a schema for the data source configuration. If schemas are not supported, then the list of collections displays on the Tables/Indices Tab. Elasticsearch has a custom UI for displaying multiple indices.
Support for this feature by Composer connectors is shown in the following table.
Key:Y - Supported; N - Not Supported; N/A - not applicable
