InfoGo Filter by contents of other rows

Filter by contents of other rows rather than just a parameter. For scheduled reports, the user may want to filter one row by the contents of another row, rather than having a hard coded parameter.  Creating a formula works if you are running a report as a one-off, but would normally require you to change the formula each run.

Analysis Grid Secondary Aggregations

The Analysis Grid does not provide a mechanism to obtain the max values based on a secondary column and then apply a Sum to those values. We would like the ability (somewhat similar to Discovery/Thinkspace) to capture a "MAX" value based on a grouping, then capture the sum of those max values.

Multiple File Upload

I have searched the product enhancement ideas section and not found this this.

The file upload control does not allow multiple files to be selected. My request is for a control change so that multiple files can be uploaded at once.

Make Auto Bookmarks Auto

I have implemented an Auto Bookmark on a Dashboard element, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired.  Either rdNewBookmark= True or rdLoadBookmark = True needs to be passed in.  This means a user can't hit the page directly.  Also, it requires some hacks in the navigation system (based upon DataLayer.Defininition List) to determine which parameter to send as part of the main navigation.

It would be nice if there was a default implemetation where a bookmark would be created if one doesn't exist and load the bookmark automatically if it did.

Dimension Grid

Can we have the following add-ons on the Dimension Grid

1. Dimension Grid is a good option for Adhoc reporting but the current UI seems very basic. Can you please enhance the look and feel of this element.

2. Add more views like Pie Chart to the existing Chart and HeatMap

3. Customizing Capability of the Charts with all the Child Elements like adding a Data Labels etc. will be nicer to have in the Front-End.

Add LinkURL Capability in Thinkspace Tables and Visuals

Currenty, in the MetaData tables, the LinkURL is meant for use in a table built using the Analysis where the goAnalysisType constant has been set to 'AnalysisGrid'.

The LinkURL is currently not supported in any of the charts or tables that are created by the Thinkspace element.

There are a lot of cases where we build "meta tables", i.e., tables that summarize underlying records. We build these mostly for speed (when dealing with tables that contain millions of records). There are occassions where we would like to call a seperate Logi Report that can provide more details.

For instance, you do an analysis and find one invoice number that has a much higher dollar amount that most others and want to get additional details. Providing a LinkURL to open a "detail" report with the additional data would be faster then going into a seperate menu, copying the invoice number and pasting it into an invoice number search.

SSRM datatable Group column rows should be in same Color

In Analysis Grid, when we do some Aggregation and Grouping on certian column, the color are not in sync with grouping rows as the data is dynamic, without 'Exclude Details Row' option, it would be nice in visibility for the users when grouping column color is in sync for the entire datatable.

Dashboard/Super Element Native Responsiveness

I've seen a few emails come out from the Logi Blogs where there are some ways to make a super element like the Dashboard more responsive.  It would be great if it was native and I could just use it...that's what makes Logi great.  Perhaps this could also be done for the Analysis Grid.

Add Individual Input Radio Button / Generic Input Element

I would like to propose that a stand alone radio button element be added.  This would be just like the stand alone check box.  The current radio buttons element requires us to attach to a data source.  Another option is to have a generic input element where there is a drop down of available input types.

I tried using the the HTML tag element to accomplish my goal, but there seems to be some issues with the implementation of events.  There is no event handler option as a child element.  When using an action element the result is wrapping the input with an anchor tag.  Perhaps better handling of events on the inputs using the HTML tag would be a better solution for full customization.

Bring Back the Professional Blue Theme

We spent two years developing over two hundred reports based on this theme. This is a conservative company and some of the more modern themes just didn't fit the culture. The Professional Blue had a nice clean look and the font sizes worked well for us on the reports that were being converted from Crystal and Cognos. We wanted a consistent look throughout all of our reports and dashboards so the one theme was used on just about everything. There are only two reports where we couldn't get Professional Blue to fit the spacing of older reports that were being converted.

Changing all that when Logi decided to discontinue support for the theme was going to require considerable effort. It's not just a matter of doing a search and replace. Because the font sizes, margins and padding are different in the different themes, all kinds of things are out of alignment when a theme is changed.

So please, spiff it up and bring it back.
